TPD and Sharing session on PlantsPort hosted by Springdale Primary School

Teachers who viewed the ETD MOE YouTube video featuring Springdale Primary School expressed strong interest in our AR learning apps. In response, Springdale Primary hosted a sharing session and invited schools keen to explore further. During the session, we presented our new PlantsPort app while Springdale shared their experiences using the apps, fostering meaningful dialogue on the potential of AR in education.

At a Singapore Learning Designers Circle (SgLDC) sharing session, our partner school showcased their experience integrating AR into teaching. They featured the AR CirculaHub app, which we co developed in collaboration, as a learning resource on the circulatory system for Primary 5 students.

CirculaHub Sharing Session

Our partner school recently organised a sharing session at another cluster school, where they shared their experiences of using CirculaHub. The session highlighted practical applications for teaching the circulatory system with AR and sparked meaningful discussions among the teachers.

The team at Nanyang Primary first discovered our Plant Transport app at Excel Fest 2023, when it was presented by Springdale Primary. They approached us soon after and implemented the app in their classrooms. Building on this collaboration, we worked together to revamp the app. Today, we are conducting training sessions in their school for the newly enhanced PlantsPort app.

Teachers from CHIJ have created a thoughtfully designed set of lesson resources ‘I Am a Young Cardiologist’ booklet to accompany the CirculaHub app on the circulatory system. They are now exploring the new PlantsPort app and sharing valuable feedback to help us refine it further.

Bringing Science to Life with AR!

In collaboration with Springdale Primary School, we developed the CeleryLab AR app to make the Plant Transport System more engaging and interactive for young learners. This video, produced by the Ministry of Education’s Educational Technology Division, highlights innovative forms of EdTech that can enrich teaching and learning.
